Sending
Send a one-off message or render a published template with your variables — always from a verified domain.
Your transactional email, one prompt away.
Connect Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP-compatible assistant to your Notifiva account. Send email, debug bounces and manage templates, domains, webhooks and suppressions — by asking in plain language.

Works with any client that speaks MCP.
01 — How it works
MCP is an open standard that lets an AI assistant call real tools on your behalf. Notifiva’s MCP server turns your account into a set of well-described tools, so the assistant can read your activity and act on it — inside the permissions you approved.
02 — Capabilities
31 tools across seven areas of your account. Read-only tools answer questions; write tools make changes you asked for.

Irreversible
Send a one-off message or render a published template with your variables — always from a verified domain.
Draft, edit, duplicate and publish templates without opening the editor. Ask for a new language version or a sharper subject line.
Add a sending domain, get the exact SPF, DKIM, Return-Path, DMARC and tracking records, then re-check verification.
Search sent mail by recipient, subject, status, template, sender or date range. Open any message’s events and rendered content.
Create endpoints, scope them, pause or resume delivery and fire a test event — then read the most recent deliveries.
See who is suppressed and why — hard bounce, spam complaint, unsubscribe or manual — and add or lift a block.
Check your plan, its limits and how much of the current period you’ve used — before a large send, not after.
Some things are deliberately out of an assistant’s reach.
03 — Connect
Add one URL to your client and approve it in Notifiva. No SDK, no local process to run, nothing to keep updated — the server is hosted for you.
Step 1
Add the server
Paste https://api.notifiva.com/mcp into your AI client as a remote MCP server.
Step 2
Approve in Notifiva
A browser window opens. Sign in and approve — the app gets only the access you grant.
Step 3
Ask in plain language
Start a chat. The assistant now sees Notifiva’s tools and uses them when they help.
Notifiva and paste the server URL below, then press Continue./mcp to authenticate Notifiva.~/.cursor/mcp.json..vscode/mcp.json in your workspace (or run MCP: Add Server).~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json.Authorization header.MCP Connector

04 — In practice
The assistant chains tools on its own. Here is what a few everyday requests turn into.
05 — Security & control
An assistant connected to Notifiva works inside the same guardrails as your API — and you can see, scope and revoke it at any time.
Approval screen — illustrative
06 — Tool reference
The exact names your assistant sees. Filter by area; colour shows whether a tool reads, writes or makes a change that can’t be undone.
07 — FAQ
Something missing? The API reference covers every parameter, and our team reads every message.
Read the docsIt is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint at https://api.notifiva.com/mcp that lets AI assistants such as Claude, Claude Code and Cursor work inside your Notifiva account. It exposes 31 tools for sending, templates, domains, message activity, webhooks, suppressions and usage.
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP — including Claude on the web and desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf, as well as custom agents built with an MCP SDK. Clients that cannot open a browser can authenticate with an API key as a bearer token.
Add https://api.notifiva.com/mcp as an MCP server in your client. It opens Notifiva in your browser, where you sign in and approve the connection. In Claude Code, run: claude mcp add --transport http notifiva https://api.notifiva.com/mcp.
An assistant can only use the tools your client allows, and Notifiva only sends from domains you have verified. Most clients ask for confirmation before a tool that sends or changes something runs. Deleting a domain, template, webhook or suppression cannot be undone, so the server instructs assistants to confirm with you first.
Yes. Messages sent through MCP count toward your monthly and daily limits exactly like API and SMTP sends. Messages sent with a test API key are recorded but not delivered, and are not counted.
Open Settings → Connected apps in the Notifiva dashboard and revoke the app. It loses access to your account; you can reconnect at any time.
API key management, billing and plan changes stay in the Notifiva dashboard on purpose, so an assistant can never create credentials or change what you pay.
Yes. Connect with a test API key: every send is recorded in your activity log with its full content, but nothing is delivered to a real inbox.
Connect Notifiva to Claude, Cursor or your own agent and run transactional email from the conversation.
