REST over HTTPS

POST to /v1/send. Typed payloads, JSON responses, and a stable message identifier for every accepted send.

Idempotent retries

Pass an idempotency key so network timeouts do not create duplicate password resets or double confirmations.

Scoped API keys

Bearer tokens scoped per environment. Rotate keys without rewriting application code.

Same pipeline as SMTP

API and SMTP land in the same delivery path. Same logs, same webhooks, same reputation controls.
